Glamping at The Well in Franschhoek

Very calm and serene location with stream sounds to sooth you through the night. The facilities were good and we enjoyed our stay. It was quite a cold night but the electric blanket definitely saved us, so we slept soundly.

We really struggled to get the shower temperature right. The water was either scorching hot or ice cold.

I absolutely loved the solitude! The river and location were stunning, very peaceful and only a 5 min drive from central Franschhoek. Very good value for money. Exactly what we needed! We would definitely come back.

The shower gave us a few issues, maybe a minute of very hot water and then ice cold. The biggest window doesn't have a blind so sleeping in is a bit of a challenge. The woodfired tub takes exceptionally long to heat up - fine for summer temperatures but I was hoping for more of a hot tub experience.

I loved the location, and that it is secluded. Everything we needed was available. The stream was so peaceful and the hot tub was so relaxing, but needed more wood. At least 3 to 4 bags of wood in the winter time. But was really a lovely stay and will definitely recommend it

I only did not like the shower. Reason why is that or it was to cold or to hot. I struggled to get the perfect temperature.

Brilliant location, private and quiet farm type stay but in town.

Nothing!

Size was big enough for the 2 of us! I enjoyed the look and feel of the cabin and outside with the braai and vineyard. The gas heater was a nice touch and kept us warm during the rain. Towels were included, hangers were included. Hair dryer was included.

No enclosed bathroom. The fact that there was no door was not great. Thank goodness we are comfortable with each other, but for most I don't think they would like it. We did not receive any wood, even if it is just a few pieces, but most especially no firelighters. It would really be something extra that is nice that could be provided. The pool took more than 3 hours to warm up, and due to that, we didn't use it.

A small heater inside would have been nice after the hot tub as we were freezing cold when we came indoors to have dinner
