The location was central, walking distance to places to see and best of all, wonderful restaurants at the doorstep. The sea view was the main attraction I chose this apartment and was not disappointed at all. Watching daily the change of colours of sky and sea, taking in the smell, listening to the sound of seagulls and waves was such a joy. On top of that , not only Marco was helpful and punctual which made a smooth check-in, he was so accomodating with my check-in and check-out requests. That helped so much with my travel plans. I also have to express my gratitude for him carrying my heavy luggage three floors up, also bottled water in the fridge upon arrival was much appreciated. Thank you so much Marco, the perfect host.

Both desk lamps were not working which made me unable to read at night, just a minor issue.

The best part of this apartment is the host - Marco. A great guy, who not only welcomed us, but also carried our 19-kilo luggage upstairs. And that means a lot, since there are 60 steps, where last 48 are very narrow. Another good thing is the location - it’s just a few steps away from the old town, where you can find many nice restaurants, which aren’t tourist traps. Also the view from the apartment is great - there is only sea in front of view, which was especially cool during a thunderstorm roughly 40 km away. It was quite a show. Oh yeah, we also got some complementary bottles of water, which is always nice, especially when it’s not so common (applies to Italy).

I’m almost 199 cm tall, but my 176 cm wife also couldn’t use the white throne (toilet) without sitting diagonally on it. While I respect extreme sports, but things like rock climbing look weird to me. This was exactly that - weird. The reason for this problem is a washing machine right in front of the toilet. It’s small, but one with a door on top would have been narrower, which might have been enough. Then there is a water pump. Once you turn any water on in the apartment - you will hear a tractor trying to start the engine, but there is a starter problem. I mean - it’s loud, so good luck going to the toilet at night that others are asleep. Not only that - turning any water on makes all the lights in the apartment go crazy. I guess there is not enough power for everything, so you get an asylum kind of experience when flushing. Or brushing tour teeth. The solution? Modern pump I guess. And the last significant issue was water coming into apartment from God-knows-where. Since it was raining at night, we got a lot of water on the floor in the morning. It travelled 2 or so meters from, potentially, a kitchen window. Nothing some silicone can’t fix, but that actually requires investing 5 EUR in the apartment, which is too much I guess. But apart from these 3 issues, it was fine. It can still be a good option for a night. Or two. Or three, if you don’t go to the toilet, don’t use water and get lucky with the weather.

The staircase would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues.

Loved the view was great

Very nice flat with a wonderful view just in front of the sea, located in the centro storico. The bed is very comfy and air conditioning works very well. Marco has been very a very diligent host.

A broom and a dustpan could be useful. As well as a few more clothespins.

Beautiful view and the appartment was complete with everything we needed. Nice host who we could stay in contact with and ask all the questions we wanted. There were a lot of facilities around.

The noise of a motor or pump running when someone else in the building uses the water (I think). This loud noise seemed to be in the room next to the bedroom. This woke us up often. Also, the parking in Trapani is paid everywhere so the car could not be parked close to the apartment without paying.

Great refurbished apartment, right on the waterfront, it's a lovely stay for 2 people,

It's four floors up with narrow stairs, be fit and healthy to drag the bags up and down, but once there it's worth it. Would have loved a toaster, but that's a wish not a necessity
