Position within Braithwaite is fantastic. Everything you need for a mini holiday. Walks/cycles from the door are exceptional. Pubs & cafes abound. Bus to Keswick or Buttermere just 30 seconds walk from the accommodation.
Parking is tight - no good for a large car. Heating wasn't on despite it being cold for June, soon addressed by the owners though.

The apartment was clean and cosy... perfectly equipped for self catering, also there was a twa room and pub not too far if you wanted to eat out. Ideal location for walking... would recommend!

Comfortable and warm accommodation, plentiful hot water. Kitchen had everything we needed for self-catering. Located close to pubs, restaurants, and a village shop and cafe. All well worth visiting.
Some minor maintenance issues that could improve the overall experience. Some items in the kitchen need replacing as old or chipped. Information pack is very dated and doesn’t include important info such as recycling facilities.

Rooms were comfortable , warm , with plenty hot water, lots of drawer space. Spacious, nice big televisions. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of windows with nice views . Very handy for the Royal Oak pub, just a 2 minute walk , convenient also for walks nearby. , wish we had more time to explore the area.
Light at the bottom of stairs was very bright and because the bedroom door was half glass it kept us awake . Bathroom shower screen needs a new seal on the bottom .
