Excellent location! I stayed in the superior room, which had two balconies — one facing the front and one on the side — both with sea views. The area is very quiet, and since having a car is essential for getting around the island, the accommodation is just a few minutes from Sami, where you can find all kinds of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and also a port, where I took the ferry to Zakynthos. The room was impeccably clean and well organized, everything very new and of great quality. The gentleman who welcomed me lives on the lower floor of the property and was very friendly and kind. We communicated only through gestures and a phone translator, since he speaks only Greek — and the only word I learned was Kalimera!

The only thing I didn’t like — but it’s easy to fix — is that the shower head doesn’t have a holder high on the wall, and the shower space itself is quite small, enclosed only by a curtain, which makes the bathroom floor quite wet. However, I noticed this is common in most places I stayed in Greece. I would also suggest adding a doormat at the entrance, because it rained every day and I had to go in with wet feet. But none of this takes away from the fact that this accommodation fully deserves a 10 out of 10!

Nice location, facility and atmosphere. The host family are friendly.

Small, but luxury apartment. On walking distance of one of the most famous tourist attractions of Kefalonia, the cave lake. Beach on walking distance, but this was not the nicest beach. Antisamos beach, a big, beautiful and famous beach on a 15 minutes drive from the apartment.

Apartment is located in a small city. Driving 10 minutes by car brings you to the nearest bigger village with a supermarket, stores and a boulevard full of nice restaurants. Beach on walking distance was not the nicest one, so I just drove to other beaches with my rental car.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

The location wasn't great; there's not much to do in the area and the nearest grocery store is a 25min walk away.

L'appartement est vraiment parfait, super confortable pour passer quelques jours confortablement. La cuisine est proprement équipée et les deux balcons sont vraiment biens. Les propriétaires sont vraiment sympathiques même s'ils ne parlent pas du tout anglais.

L'emplacement. C'est éloigné de tout (sauf les restos, excellents restos autour). Il n'y a pas eu de ménage ne serait-ce que pour vider les poubelles pendant notre séjour de 5 jours.
