RedDoorz Plus @ Hotel Platinum Occidental Mindoro

To be honest it was nothing like expected.

The reception couldn’t give us straight answers but always had to call the boss. Seems like a manager who can’t let go of control. The rooms were absolutely disgusting and had no windows. Don’t believe the pictures this hotel is really outdated and dirty.

There are no telephone inside the room so I have to go down the reception to say or order something. There's no heater also. And the mattress were not too thick but its ok.

The location. Customer service was great! Free airport shuttle! Water distiller available in the floor areas of the room.

They are renovating and I believe they are conserving energy cost as the hotel shuts down the elevator late nights and front desk is closed. There is also no phone in the rooms to call the front desk and had to physically go down to them. Pillows were too small. Very uncomfortable and had to request for extra pillows.

Everything-room, location, and staff, especially Grace and Rod, both great asset to the establishment.

There was a leak in the ceiling coming from the electrical light, which if not attended to might cause fire. Temporarily, it was fixed. Should look into this.

This property is well organized and modern, housed in a new building. The staff were great, and we would not have minded extending our stay if there had been more to do in town.
