Yiayia Katina’s House

Nice apartment which was super close to the beach. We enjoyed the supermarket next door. The owner was super friendly!

It’s quite a walk to the town center (Pegasus statue and port) and parts of the apartment looked outdated (but well maintained).

Owners were very helpful during the check-in process and accommodated our late arrival. They were also very sweet to leave snacks for us.

One aspect that was extremely uncomfortable was getting in and out of the property. There were hardcore locks on the gates that took up to 5 minutes each time to unlock/lock due to their positioning and the fact that we were given about 5-6 keys that all looked identical.

The property is super close to the beach and a short walk from Corinth town. You can park easily there which us great as there are many interesting things to see a short drive away. The property is big and we loved having a few toiletries and some things for breakfast. The garden is nicely done and great for eating outside. The host was so welcoming, friendly and informative. She recommended a great restaurant where we ate very well for a good price. There is a large supermarket next door and the property has most things needed for cooking and preparing meals. If we come to Corinth again, we will definitely come back here.

The supermarket receives deliveries at around 6am. This wasn’t a problem for us as we were awake at that time, but I could imagine that some people would find the noise annoying although it really wasn’t too bad. I really can’t find anything I didn’t like about the property.

Great space with the option for my son to sleep in the main room. So close to the beach but away from the noise of the town . Excellent place!

Closely located to the beach. Spacy for 2 person.

Rough neighborhood . A lot of waste around the garden and the connecting roads.

Spotlessly clean. Cheerful decor. Netflix on the telly, once we found out how to translate from the Greek. Use of kitchen for tea and coffee, and plentiful supply of coffee etc. Quiet at night in terms of traffic, although there was a dog barking at the full moon - but we are dog owners, so we are used to it. There is a beach a short walk away, though we didn't go to it, and a good supermarket close by. Our hostess recommended a truly excellent restaurant.

We fantasized that Yiayia Katina was an old lady known to the hostess, because the property had several quite old-fashioned features, like the sockets were very few and high up on the walls (difficult to charge phones etc.). There was really nothing to cook with in the kitchen apart from a small pot for boiling water.
