Friz Love Room Rental

Would highly recommend staying here. Place is extremely clean and the owner was so sweet and accommodating. Felt like a home away from home. Would definitely come back here again if I return

Good sized room. Great location. Comfortable bed. Clean. Lovely host. Good air con. Reliable WI-FI. The only minor negative was the lack of hot water heater. The water isn't too cold in Siquijor, so it wasn't a freezing cold shower, but a hot water heater would make it a 10/10 for me.

The whole place is very clean and beds are comfortable. Riza, the landlady, makes you a simple breakfast of eggs, bread, fruit and as much coffee as you want. She even put a kettle outside my room so i could make tea! Riza is very helpful and will sort out transport or whatever you want. The property is less than 10 mins walk to the restaurants and shops, away from bar noise at night. I had a lovely stay. Thank you Riza!

I stayed at Friz Love for 3 weeks and Riza is the best host you could ever hope for. The room was clean, comfortable, and functional with very quiet A/C (rare in the Philippines), a desk, and nice views of the neighborhood from the big windows. The location is a 10-minute walk down to the main road where you can find some restaurants and bars, and the neighborhood is safe and friendly - Riza even invited us guests to some neighborhood fiestas which was a treat.

No hot water (as expected) and the water pressure varied from zero to strong. The bathroom is across the hall. The neighborhood dogs, roosters, and karaoke can be quite loud at times. Walking home up the hill on a hot humid day is brutal. Obviously no fault of Friz Love, but be prepared for frequent electricity blackouts and inconsistent wifi on this island. Also not specific to Friz Love, San Juan is not as walkable as I expected and transit options are hit-and-miss, so you really need to rent a scooter to enjoy this island.

A lovely place where you really feel at home. Risa the owner take care of you and arrange everything you might need to give you a memorable stay at Siquijor. The aircon was superefficient and they have scooters to rent as well.
