The food was good.

The hotel was located on a hill. Not easy to reach by foot. The cleaning was poor.The towels were not properly cleaned having dirt spots. The drinks were diluted. Cola was also mixed with water. Too many stairs to get to the restaurant and to all the other facilities. In my opinion is not suitable for older people because the way from hotel to the beach and to the other attractions is too exhausting.

Beautiful sea views, plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Considering we had the cheapest room, it was spacious and more or less clean.

“From a five-star hotel I expected better food, unfortunately the same dishes were repeated every day. Scrambled eggs were always burnt, soups cold and not very tasty. There was a large selection of salads, vegetables and fruit, but only a small selection of main dishes. Coffee in the bars was good, but the choice of drinks was limited. We also expected more from the grills. What was really terrible, however, was the noise from outside and from the corridors of our middle section room. The room walls seemed to be just thin partitions, as we could hear every step in the hallway, slamming doors, and shouting. The walls are probably really made of paper in the middle section of hotel.

They stole 80 euros from our room. The hotel has five stars, but it is really three to four. The bathroom is very poorly cleaned. You can see in the room, dining room, and the entire complex that it is poorly maintained. When we asked for two duvets, we got two decorative blankets. At lunch and dinner, they serve you (free) drinks, and they take care of the food supply. The downside is that the table setting is not at the level of a 5-star hotel, but rather a 3-star one. When we arrived for an early breakfast on the last day, we were greeted by cookies and chocolate balls. There were no eggs, cold cuts, or milk for the chocolate balls, fruit, jam... The hotel itself is located on a very steep hill, but the staff transports guests in golf carts to the beach and back, which is very welcome. There is a bar on the beach with drinks and snacks (fruit, pizza, hot sandwiches). On the hotel beach there are sun loungers and an umbrella for an additional fee (two sun loungers and an umbrella are 10e). If you want lots of souvenir stalls you need to go to Chania, the bus runs every 20 minutes for 2e one way.
