Riad dar Karam

The experience was beautiful, the host made feel at home. The food was excellent, home cooking. All fresh. The rooms and the beds are very comfortable.

The car doesn’t arrive to the door. You have to walk a minute or two to reach the hotel. But the hotel staff was excellent and responsive, if you call they will meet you and help you with your luggage.

Felt home enjoyed every bit of it, great host and hospitality was beyond and above the expectations definitely will visit again and again …

I stayed at Riad dar karmen for 6 nights. Nadia is super nice and very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The room was as in the picture so I got what I expected and it was very comfortable. The rooftop terrace was my favourite spot but I also chilled out in the communal area which is beautifully tradicional when it was raining. The breakfasts are substancial and very tasty, I love all the different types of bread and pastries served. Nadia doesn't speak English and I only have school girl French but we had some nice conversation with the help of Google translate!! I also had dinner in the Riad twice and I can honestly say itwas better than the other dinner I ate outside, very good value and again substantiantial and very tasty. The riad is a short walk to most things and at night its very quiet. I definitely recommend a stay here, it is very good value and Nadia makes it feel like home.

Would've been good to know about the tourist tax when booking as I wasn't aware.

We didnt like that there is no door between sleeping room and toilette so you hear everything :D

The location of the riad was great, very central and could walk to most places around the Medina. The rooms were well sized. The host (Nadia) is amazing and was very accommodating of anything we needed during our stay. She also let us leave our bags on the day we checked out. She doesn't speak any English but we managed quite well by using google translate. Breakfasts every morning were delicious - freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs, traditional moroccan bread and spreads with mint tea!

The only thing to call out would be that the bathrooms (shower and toilet) didn't have any doors so that might be quite awkward

Very nice, pleasant and clean Riad at a quiet place in the Medina, although everything is nearby at walking distance. The rooftop is also very nice. The hostess is very friendly, hospitable and service-oriented. And a great cook also! We had a fantastic stay at Riad Dar Karam.

Location is near the heart of the Medina. It was quiet and cool. It was beautifully decorated and the rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was a traditional Moroccan spread of delicious breads and toppings. The owner, Nadia, was kind and generous with her time. She helped me to find a few souvenirs that I had wanted to buy and she even did the bargaining for me! I had an excellent stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay in the bustling Marrakech Medina.

I traveled solo at first and was joined by a friend a day later, we both agreed this was the best experience staying at Nadia’s Riad Dar Karam. It felt like visiting family! Nadia was so welcoming and we felt we were in safe hands. If you’re staying at Nadia’s you must try her famous couscous - made with love and care! The best we had in the city hands down. Riad Dar Karam feels like home away from home. Thorough enjoyed my stay; from breakfast, the wonderful terrace, to Nadia’s Moroccan mint tea, the whole experience was wonderful

The owner lady was super kind. The breakfast(handmade bread, omelette, fresh orange juice, mint tea and coffee) was amazing. The room was also very comfortable, and my favourite was the terrace! They called taxis for us from the airport to the Riad. I highly recommend staying here when you visit Marrakesh!
