Villa Iva Canggu Bali

The place is a self check-in villa building. Looks nice in the pictures but I've had ants in my room and bed which made the overnight stay impossible. There's also noticable humidity in the room and the signs of mold on the walls. I had to change the place to another one as the ants made it impossible to safely sleep. The manager of the place has promised to refund the cost of the booking, however there was no reply from this person afterwards. I had to use charge back option through my card provider to get my money back.

I was there for 20 mins and left straight away.

I had to do a late checking because the room wasn’t ready when I got there. The property photos in the booking app are very outdated, the place is clean but the kitchen is in very poor conditions and the room was very basic. I got into the room and the first thing I find was a huge spider (I am afraid of spiders) with cobwebs in one corners of the room, contacted the property manager and as they didn’t answer straight away I booked another accommodation and left Villa Iva in less than 30 mins. Once I left the property I got a message from the property manager offering me another room but it was too late as I was in my in the taxi leaving already. I am trying to get a refund but I still haven’t had an answer from the property and I have opened a complaint through booking to see if I can get my money back as I was there for less than half an hour and left straight away.

I recently stayed at Villa Iva in Canggu and had a wonderful experience. The villa was immaculate, with both the room and pool maintained. The space was comfortable and well-appointed, making it easy to relax and enjoy my stay. The location was also convenient, providing a peaceful retreat while still being close to local attractions. Overall, Villa Iva offered great value and a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Canggu!
