Cabañas Narasgandup (Naranjo Chico)

Desondanks dat de mensen daar geen Engels konden hebben ze enorm hun best gedaan om alles uit te leggen. Het verblijf was geweldig en op het eiland rondlopen was een unieke ervaring.

Het vervoer naar het eiland werd pas achteraf uitgelegd en mee in prijs genomen dit was jammer verder was het eten enorm lekker maar er was weinig variatie.

Amazing stay. The people here are so kind and friendly, welcoming and helpful. They made so much effort to ensure I was comfortable. The Accomodation is clean and as pictured with a private bathroom. Of course basic but if planning a trip to San Blas you need to manage your expectations! I booked at short notice and everything was arranged so smoothly, very easy process for transfer from Panama City. The food was delicious. Beach on the island very nice and the excursions were excellent. I highly recommend booking this place! The price includes all meals and boat from the port. Car from Panama City and taxes are extra but not expensive.

Unfortunately there were storms most of the time I was there and it got a bit cold and wet but that’s out of everyone’s control.

We stayed for one night of our honeymoon. It was the perfect place to get away from it all, totally secluded in paradise. The staff and people on the island were so welcoming and friendly, the food was simple but delicious and so fresh. We really enjoyed lovely coconuts, cocktails and drinks from the local community shops. The excursion to another island was fantastic with coral reefs with huge amounts of sealife and we even saw dolphins on the way there and back! Even on the island itself, there was plenty of sealife to see. The transportation booking was so easy and I think it was such good value as it was included with the room price. We were surprised that we weren't bitten by mosquitoes at all nor did we see one. Everything met the description - you'll be happy as long as you know this is basic. If you really want a once a lifetime experience, this is it! I would 100% recommend staying here!

Not really a negative as we knew what we booked... just advice: We opened our windows and moved our bed to be in the centre of the room to make the most of the breeze as we slept which really helped with the heat! Remember to charge your phone or use a battery pack before getting to the island as there was no way (that we knew of) to charge devices.

Book directly through the company. I thought I was reserving the over water cabana based on photos and price but actually just significantly overpaid for the land cabana. It was still a good place and nice staff but very limited english so communicating was difficult. Bring a solar charger, beach towel and snorkel mask.

Like the ambience and vast sea around . The people who hosted us were friendly and helpful .

Needs a carpet at the door to clean the sand on the floor and may be some timely cleaning the floor will be very much appreciated . Otherwise everything was great .

The staff was super friendly and helpful, and you can't beat the view being right on the water! The island itself has so much to offer in terms of pristine water and water activities (swimming, snorkeling, etc) and we also loved the daily excursions they took us on to other nearby islands for just an additional $3 per person per excursion.

Facilities are pretty bare and basic, but quite comparable to what you get at competing properties/islands. Be sure to bring a portable charger for concenience as the rooms do not have any outlets, however, the staff will let you charge devices in their home

Location close to nature friendly native’s I did not except allot knowing where I am going

I was disappointed that promised visit to one of the neighboring native island never happened! Overall I new what to expect as far of simple accommodation and had no problem with it 💕

We liked the people who welcomed us most kindly and who did everything to make our stay absolutely wonderful. It was an honour for us that the Kuna Yala let us stay on their island. Every day we were served fresh food directly from the ocean. They also organized trips for us to other islands on a daily basis. Our hut was on the water on pillars and we could watch fish from our verandah. Of course, the place with its beautiful sandy beach is kind of isolated but that was what we were looking for.

That we had to leave after 4 days...
