EVASION Bungalow d'Antan Spa

The location was absolutely beautiful!

When we arrived the spa was dirty so we asked for it to be cleaned. Thankfully it was done the next day and was very nice after this. There were also some ants in the room so we had to make sure to clean up all food. There is no hotel reception. It appears the bungalows are on the land of an old hotel called Evasion (probably went under during covid) so the bungalows are now managed remotely?

Very private, comfortable bungalow set in a beautiful tropical environment. The location is in the grounds of an old hotel no longer in service. It’s interesting to look around the old restaurant area. Instructions from host very clear. You must take your own provisions which are easy to pick up in La Foa.

Room was comfortable with good facilities. All went well.

Swimming hole was marvelous but took longer than the 5 minutes to get there than was mentioned.

It was clean and calm.

At first sight it's hard to guess you really booked here as the whole complex seems abandoned.

Amazing to be right by the river, listening to it flow as we relaxed in the spa. The abandoned restaurant was cool to look around and the Curve is a great watering hole nearby. Lovely touch to leave bread for us.

Could have been cleaner. Not sure if towels were clean, hair stuck to the shower wall from a previous guest and an unemptied ashtray. Self catering was challenging with only a microwave and limited kitchen utensils. No bin bags so not sure what to do with rubbish. There was an ant problem which got to some of our supplies. Didn't ruin our stay though as it is a beautiful spot!
