Staycation at Sandari Batulao Overlooking Spot

We had a comfortable and peaceful stay. The unit was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed — from cookware to basic kitchen tools — which made it easy for us to prepare our own meals instead of dining out. It really felt like a home away from home. While the location is a bit far from Tagaytay proper, the quiet surroundings made it ideal for relaxation. If you're looking for a calm and private place to unwind and don't mind a bit of a drive, this is a great option.

We were a bit disappointed with the pool. It was small, and we wish it had a heater, especially since the weather in Tagaytay can get quite cold.

The house was clean and spotless, stove, cooking items and appliances are in working condition. Check in was smooth, communication with the caretaker and hosts were great. The beds and pillow were comfortable. Showers are working, hot water pressure could be improved but cold water pressure was great. The ac in the bedrooms were working great but do take note no ac in the living room. Just open the sliding doors to feel the breeze and the fan. The house pool was clean and but we did not use it, but i can imagine having a nice plunge dip on hot days. We swam mostly at the clubhouse pool which was beautiful for a small fee of P200 per person (about $4). It was only 10mins away to Twin Lakes Tagaytay were we did some grocery shopping and lots of eateries. Rooftop was a nice hangout for the family. Overall it was such a great stay, wonderful hosts and value for your money.

The sliding doors in the kitchen going towards the pool and some of the screen doors as well just need a little fix :) It was super hard to open, it kept detaching.

- Spacious and cozy - peaceful - clean enough - comfy bed - spacious bathrooms - the kids enjoyed the small swimming pool located at the back of the house - i requested our host to order us some food to be delivered upon arrival and it came on time - host allowed us to check in early and checked on us between our stay

- out of 2 1/2 bathrooms inside the house our family of 7 were only able to use 1 shower as there was no hot water in the other bathroom and there was a missing glass wall in the shower - the master’s bedroom has a duvet/ comforter but the other 2 rooms have thin sheets and single fleece for a blanket - there was a 300 pesos delivery charge on the food we ordered which i was not aware of - ac filters were dirty and my brother had to ask the caretaker to clean it - found some ants and small roaches in the kitchen when we arrived. When i asked the caretaker for an insect spray he gave me an empty can - i was told by the owner/ host that i asked too many questions prior to our stay which i find offensive

The room was very clean and comfortable. The owner and staff were very friendly. The location was great, and the beautiful sunset we saw together as a family was an unforgettable experience.

Loved the house, beautiful view, nice pool, comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen.

My only complaint is the location. It was difficult to find, and it was difficult to find transportation. Even the gate guards couldn't give us good directions to the street.

Not easy to get food delivery and far from restaurants/shops. The stove and hood did not have power. No hot water in master suite. No curtains on bathroom windows and construction workers next door were constantly watching for anyone using the bathroom.
