Villa Nya Ubud

We were very happy with everything — the location, the environment, the accommodation, and the facilities. Everything was clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were super friendly. They also solved any problems very quickly.

Amazing villa that provided both central area for socialising and private seperate rooms. ( perfect for our family with teenage kids , would also be perfect for couples as each room had a bathroom) pool, rooms and bathrooms were amazing, staff were very friendly and helpful. A little bit of a walk to popular area of Main Street , guessing 7 or 8 mins however the restaurant and shop area near monkey park was a very short walk.

We absolutely loved our time at Villa Nya. Sure the villa is beautiful, each of the three rooms have their own character, the pool, and the lush green surroundings but the true highlight of our stay were our amazing hosts, Eka, Wayan and the rest of team who made our stay so much more memorable through their genuine warmth and care. Matur suksma, bli bagus Eka and Wayan!

Stunning property close walking distance to everything. About 1km to ubud market. The bathroom was stunning.

There is no shared lounge room to sit comfortably nor and indoor space to gather that is bug free and air conditioned. We wanted to relax and be alone and secluded once we got there. Although the staff were friendly I didn’t want them showing us every room and walking us through. We ordered breakfast the following day and when breakfast was delivered a guy came in the clean the pool and then they came back an hour later to do the dishes in the villa. I didn’t want others in my space and didn’t few it necessary for the pool to be cleaned the day after we arrived.

The Property is hidden at the end of a narrow path, it feels very secure with security guard at night before the entrances to 3 villas. When you open the gate it’s like you are entering rural jungle location not Ubud centre. Pool is amazing . Rooms are beautifully decorated with separate toilet and jungle style showers. But the most important part about the property is the host. WAYAN is the kindest, friendliest person. Nothing was to much trouble for him and I was able to message him directly if we were out and there was something we were not sure about. We left the villa two days ago and I still message him and he is so helpful. This Villa is so lucky to have him because he is just special and makes you feel like you made a friend while on holiday that you could turn to if you needed help in case of emergency. That provides great sense of security when you far away from home. Thank you WAYAN , we may come back to Bali just to meet you again ❤️

Everything about the property was lovely - the decor, garden setting and the villa itself. It was quiet from all the motorbikes, and whilst not in the centre of town, a lot of restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. Staff were available if needed and able to facilitate anything required and Ari was very responsive and helpful with all correspondence.

It did take a bit of getting used to that the villa was open, but that contributed to the whole experience. I didnt realise that the three rooms were ‘separate buildings’ with external door locks. We revelled with one child so I stayed with her, could be a little tricky if travelling with a few kids and not being close to them. Whilst it didn’t bother us, something to look out for.

All is great. The bedrooms were cozy, kitchen had eveything you needed, bathrooms were clean. Pool was nice. As you has expected staying in Ubud was lots of insects but Villa Nya provided enough insect repellant and spray. We actually enjoyed the sound of the birds, chickens, gecko from surrounding areas. Bli Wayan, Bli Eka, and the other staff made sure our stay was comfortable.

A bit of a walk from the main street (cannot be accessed by car) but the staff were so helpful to get our luggages in and out, so it wasn't a big problem.

Two fans in the rooms were not working. However, AC was working. That kept us ok in the room with huge humidity in the area.
