Skyline Serenity Retreat @Vaci Most Famous Street

We had a fantastic one-night stay at this spacious apartment. Loved that it was right on Vaci Street, yet completely quiet inside

This was a last minute booking for us as we could not stay at the apartment we had originally booked. All I can say is God moves in mysterious ways as this place is practically perfect and helped us to fall in love with Budapest after a shaky start. The location, the apartment, the facilities, the view - all was amazing. I will definitely rebook.

This is really comfortable apartment with everything you need for a great stay in the centre of Budapest. We didn't meet the host in person but communication was fine and it was easy to get in and out. The location is great – near the river and the central shopping area. Amenities like the washing machine make it ideal for longer stays.

My only small criticism is that the air conditioning only covered the living area and not the bedroom. This was not made clear in the description and was a bit disappointing since we had booked assuming we would be comfortable at night.

The accommodation is in a great location. The accommodation is beautiful, spacious, clean and bright. The balcony is the most beautiful.

We had two inconveniences that slightly spoiled the experience. The accommodation is on the 4th floor, we arrived in the building and the elevator was not working. There was a clear notice that the elevator was not working from 06.05 and that it would not work for the next 4 weeks (we checked in on 16.05.2024), but the host did not inform us. He did not know. Secondly, we paid for the accommodation for 4 people, we were waiting for bedding for 2. We managed to find some bedding in the apartment that we could use, the host returned 30 euros as an apology

Location is wonderful. Maxim, the host was so helpful and kind! We were all mesmerized how beautiful and spacious the apartment is. The apartment was so clean, it had everything we needed for a cozy stay. We are gonna come back again, that’s for sure!

The location was good, however all the restaurants and places we travelled to, we need to reach within 30m walking distance.

Overall, I would not recommend to stay at this place. The smell from the two bathrooms is close to intolerable. The owner put some fragrance freshener in the bathrooms but they don't work. I think it's simply because of the old building, yet nothing you can do, but it's not suitable for a relaxing vacation in Budapest. The mattress where separate in the bed, only one bedsheet available. Cleanliness: superficially clean, but when we looked closer, we found unclean spots, did not feel comfortable sleeping in the bed and the used pillows. The bath carpets were both not washed before our stay, we put them on the side. Poor experience..
