Villa da Graca - Selfcatering or B&B

We had a lovely stay in an environment that was friendly, and our hostess created a beautiful meal for us. I rate the environment as one of the warmest and welcoming of spaces. We will most definitely rebook there should we find ourselves needing a sleep over en route to the Cape. Thank you to our gracious hosts and the family. A lovely home from home stay.

The street address is wrong, there is no entrance on Bruns Street, it is on the side road. On arrival, no one answered the Bell apart from excited barking from a dog. We phoned the Cell Number several times, but it went to voicemail. Eventually, after 35 minutes, we finally contacted the Host by WhatsApp. A third party was contacted and arrived after ten more minutes to let us in. Parking on the street may technically be "Free Parking", but not what we expect when in an accommodation description. Had we known that this was the free parking, we would not have booked. Glass soap dispensers in a Bathroom are a Safety Hazard. Cutlery was supplied, but not plates, an interesting concept. If you have to warn guests about "tricky" door locks, you have a problem that you should have fixed.

Our room was thoughtfully decorated, and very welcoming. The host provided us with coffee, sugar, shampoo etc., which was very helpful. Breakfast was also a treat!

The garden is extremely beautiful! The smell of levendar makes it even more peaceful and relaxing environment. The family is so hospitality and adorable!

This was one of our favorite places along the way. It felt very homie and safe. Louis picked us up from our safari and communication about everything was super smooth. We loved the cuddles from the dog and our cute chats with the kids. Letti is the loveliest and she had us set up in the morning for breakfast in the garden. I would definitely recommend this place! Also for solo female travellers who are just looking for a cute place to stay that feels safe and with a private pool.
