Beautiful large room and bed

Seemed to be a bit far away from town.

Big and clean rooms, friendly staff, great quiet property close to the main town. Lovely geckos seen in the evening, some animals next door. Tasty free breakfast included and served whenever you choose.

The rooms are left open when they are unoccupied and when they are being cleaned, which allows mosquitoes to come in the rooms.

Per un breve soggiorno può andare bene. Camere ampie e spaziose, ma molto umide. Staff super gentile e disponibile. Hotel pulito, con cambio regolare della biancheria. Colazione nella terrazza al primo piano, da scegliere in anticipo, scelta basica. Hotel ben posizionato, circa 8 minuti di scooter dal centro di Labuan Bajo (a piedi è lontanuccio e la strada è poco illuminata, anche se nei dintorni ci sono parecchi resort).

Le camere erano estremamente umide, con un odore molto forte e persistente che rendeva difficile restarci a lungo. Per riuscire a stare in stanza bisognava tenere sempre la porta del bagno con doccia chiusa, e sempre accesi sia l’aria condizionata che il deumidificatore. Inoltre, consiglio di prestare più attenzione ai prodotti serviti a colazione: il burro non era fresco, ma scaduto. Sarebbe opportuno controllare meglio le date di scadenza. Un vero peccato, perché la struttura in sé avrebbe del potenziale, ma le condizioni dell’ambiente interno (che abbiamo sfruttato il minimo indispensabile stando sempre fuori per escursioni etc) hanno reso il soggiorno poco piacevole.

Such a great find in Labuan Bajo! Away from the hectic tourist centre and sitting in the jungle, this place felt like home for 5 nights. Simple rooms (don't expect a 5 star resort at this price obviously) but exceptionally clean and well-kept. We found our room very quiet (yes, there's a mosque nearby... it's Indonesia! Bring earplugs if you're sensitive) we didn't find it a problem at all. Breakfast is amazing - a huge spread of fruit, juice, eggs if you like, french butter, coffee... and the staff are really sweet, greeting us each morning and evening. They even assembled us some bread, butter and fruit salad the night before for our early morning dive trips which was really kind. You definitely need a scooter to make the most of this place, as there isn't much else around. But we found it suited us perfectly. Just make sure you check which company is used if you book a scooter rental through the hotel - we had a very bad experience with Sibanaha Adventure (booked by the hotel but not their fault). Choose any other rental company please! Otherwise our stay was perfect. Thank you for looking after us!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful stay at Hôtel La Belle Étoile! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, truly some of the nicest people we’ve met. The breakfast was delicious every morning, with fresh ingredients and a beautiful setting. The whole place feels calm and welcoming, perfect for relaxing and exploring Labuan Bajo. We would definitely stay here again! 🌿☀️
