Harleyburn Cottages - Stables and Saddlery

Cottage was exactly as described on Booking.com website. Very beautifully renovated old stable buildings. Fully stocked with every kitchen utensil might ever need. Warm and homely.

Loved how well equipped the cottage was, the serene surroundings, it was very clean and cosy and the owners were lovely.

The stable door on the en suite - if you need the loo in the night you wake up your partner. Also there was no hot water in the kitchen, even though we had immersion on for an hour.

Very well appointed with good amenities. Very charming self catering cottage. We loved it!

We love the location, the stables and the welcoming atmosphere that surrounds this beautiful property.

This property is spacious and roomy, located in a wonderful private garden , and has all that is needed for a self catering stay/holiday. The property, primarily chosen since it is a ground floor only dwelling, with no stairs. Between the lounge/living room and the kitchen, internal in the house is a single step down between floor heights. Our stay included utilising both the bedroom and the convertible sofa bed in the lounge room. Both are comfy to sleep on. The location is great for all parts of the Scottish Borders region, and Melrose itself, a few minutes drive away is a Town to discover, with good pubs and other eateries for evening meals and/or breakfasts and lunches.

Our stay was short, just the one night because we had to travel further on the next day. Would have loved to have stayed for several days or even a full week.
