The restaurant is very cozy, and the menu excellent for the price. I loved the cheese assortment and the service was impecable.

The rooms are a little way up from the restaurant in a building with a small amount of parking. Our room was up an outside staircase and was clean and comfortable if rather tired and small - the bathroom light has to be treated with care to make it work for instance. The restaurant was absolutely charming, the set menu a feast of local dishes served with generous portions - the cheese board is left at your table for you to help yourself - and the proprietor and his staff kind and friendly. We were there on a cold November evening and the welcome was warm.

The room is quite small but sufficient; the room warm and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom is a bit odd - made of what seemed to be moulded plastic akin to a caravan shower - but contains all the necessary features, and the shower actually worked really well. Breakfast was continental only with a more limited range of options than you'd usually get in a full hotel (but at a much higher price) but we found it excellent from our perspective: tea, really good orange juice, yoghourt, dried fruit, a basket of bread and cakes, and a wide range of jams.

The bathroom had not been cleaned properly - there was someone else's hair. There is limited parking - we were fortunate to take one of the two spaces available as the rooms are up the street, away from the restaurant (which is where you need to go to collect the room key).

We always enjoy our stays here.

Ideally situated for an overnight stop in mid-France. Comfortable room; dinner and breakfast were excellent and superb value for money.

Bathroom was a little small in hotel room.

Staff - very welcoming and helpful. Dinner & breakfast. Most enjoyable & plenty of food. Relaxed atmosphere. Room very clean, comfortable & well equipped - bonus of a fan as the weather was very hot. Parking excellent. Good to meet people who were had previously stayed here.
