The Quay lodge

Location great once we found it. Easy to access and good communication from host. Great for first stop after ferry.

Did not meet any staff. Parking a bit of a problem but luckily owner of pub opposite let us park motorcycles on pavement outside pub. Could do with a bigger sign on building to make it easier go spot.

Very clean, excellent condition and comfortable. Communication from the host was excellent and informative. Although there is not suitable parking immediately at the property the host gave very good help to find a suitable place. We only stayed overnight before an early ferry but the provisions and facilities were excellent and we would have gladly used the room for a longer stay.

Excellent location we were going to the Opera House There’s no breakfast included so close proximity to coffee shops is a bonus

My 10-night stay at The Quay Lodge was an absolute delight. Karen and Paul were excellent hosts, checking in by text to make sure everything was going well. Reaching my lovely room on the top floor felt a little like climbing aboard a ship. With each flight of stairs, I had the sense of ascending to an upper deck. Yet this was a ship with no need to set sail, because Quay Lodge is already anchored in the perfect spot: the heart of beautiful Wexford Town. One of the things I appreciated most was the tranquillity of the mornings, free from the hum of washing machines or the sound of vacuum cleaners that so often accompany hotel stays. It was a peaceful way to start the day and made it easy to relax and feel at home. The comfortable sitting area in the room was a welcome extra touch and made the space feel even more inviting. The keypad entry system is brilliant – no fumbling around in your pockets for key cards or keys. You simply enter your code, and the blue light confirms that your room is securely locked. Although The Quay Lodge is self-catering, you’ll never be short of places to enjoy breakfast, coffee, or a meal, with numerous cafés and restaurants just a few steps away. This guesthouse combines comfort, character, and an unbeatable location. I left with fond memories and every hope of returning one day soon.
