"Unique, a rare chance to experience a reserve on our own."

The location in the middle of a bird sanctuary/reserve was exceptional. We had not expected the walk through the bush and the beauty of the place. The cottage was extremely well equipped and comfortable. Many interesting stories associated with the art and the history of the place. The staff were excellent- friendly and helpful. I would highly highly recommend a stay at Theo's Cottage or at the very least a visit to the reserve. It is an important place conserving both natural bush and creatures.

We enjoyed it all - no problems or issues.

"It was lovley waking up to the dawn chorus and meeting the kiwi"

Fantastic location. I had the entire sanctuary to myself in the evening and early morning.

Mattress was adequate, not as comfortable as most accommodation.

Seclusion, beautiful setting Spacious for its type, nicely laid out

Just the induction element and pots weren't very clean (everything else was). Maybe few people use them.
