Iris nel Borgo

This was probably the most idyllic Italian stay we have ever had. 6 nights in one of the most beautiful villages of Italy in an historic apartment with a terrace and garden that exceeded our wildest expectations. Adriano was great from the initial booking until our departure even meeting us in the small parking lot where he saved us a space. His thoughtful provisioning was a relief when we arrived hungry and thirsty. He helped book a restaurant for our first night so we could begin our stay without any stress. The kitchen was small but EXTREMELY well equipped, especially for a vacation home. The knives were even sharp and functional! We were able to cook some memorable meals for the terrace—why would we ever want to leave it! The view, the view, the view!! We had no need for AC in late May and there were no insect issues at all. The amazing birds living in the town walls must help take care of them! This is an amazing place to live and you will think yourself a genius to book it. Thank you Adriano!

We LOVED our stay here! The views of the vineyards were like something outside of a movie. The whole place had charm, was clean and there was everything we needed to cook and clean as needed. Highly recommend!

The view from the patio is absolutely amazing. We will remember this place from our trip. Truely special. Hosts are friendly and accomodating. We would definitely rebook again

The host provided so many extras - wine, coffee, biscuits, pastries, fruit, milk. The terrace is beautiful and the view amazing. Adriano was very helpful and responsive.

We are staying at many nice places through our Italy trip, however this was our favorite. The pictures do not do this place justice. Adriano greeted us at the parking lot (which is a just a few short steps from the stay) and showed us how to get in and around the place. Everything that you may need was provided (including a selection of beer and wine for an additional small price). The stay was a beautiful place, however the patio was the star. Fantastic views on the private terrace. If we do come back to Greve, there is no doubt we would book a stay here (hopefully for a longer period next time). You will not regret staying here!

Iris nel Borgo is a unique (and wonderful) B&B in a unique (and wonderful) location. The views out the windows are beautiful. When we had a bit of difficulty finding Iris nel Borgo, Adriano got right back to us and made sure we found Iris without more difficulty. It is a very manageable walk up to Montefioralle (yet, would be better to wait out the rain with a glass of Chianti Classico in Greve-in-Chianti, rather than walk up in the rain, as we did). Sipping Prosecco on the terrace of Iris nel Borgo was absolutely magnificent, and walking through the village the next morning was lovely indeed.

Accommodation in a truly historic house, terrace with seating and beautiful views of the surroundings. The accommodation is in one of the most beautiful villages in the Chianti area, parking was free a short walk from the house. Communicative host, very helpful and friendly.

Absolutely everything has been thought of. It is very well equipped, with everything you need provided. The view is magnificent. Although the village is isolated, there are a few good places to eat in the village. The communication with the owner is excellent and friendly. It is the type of place where it is worth spending a few nights to make the most of it.
