We really enjoyed the warm welcome of Hillary & Michael. The place is fully equipped with anything you might need and the location is amazing.

What a spectacular and very special place to stay. The location can not be beaten, and the view from the lounge area is surreal. We spent most morning just gazing out across the bay. How hosts were fabulous and gave us a very warm and friendly welcome, and also surprised us with homemade tablet, jam, shortbread biscuits, and bread - all of it scrumptious. We were out and about quite a bit, so they left us to get on with it, but were very clear that we should just shout should we need something. The kitchen and appliances were modern and easy to use, and there was plenty more room than we had expected in the bedroom and bathroom. Overall a wonderful place to stay, and we will be back. The drive is totally worth it!

Only tiny thing is the bed is on the smaller side (however, my husband is 6,6...so it was hard not to be) and we both felt like we were sliding off each side a little bit. But nothing that would put us off from returning.

Lovely stay, Hillary and Michael were excellent hosts. Very comfortable apartment, perfect size for a couple. Everything you need for a relaxing break, they even left us some homemade tablet to enjoy. Amazing views.

Can't put into words how great this place was, but I'll try. :) We regretted that we could only stay for 3 nights on our road trip. The apartment is eco-friendly, spacious yet cozy, and modern with an extremely well equipped kitchen, and it's spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated with paintings by local artists. Hilary and Michael were lovely and made us feel very welcome with delicious homemade jam, bread, shortbread and tablet. Thank you so much! The panorama window was an absolute highlight and provided stunning views, on a clear day you can see the Outer Hebrides. The location is very remote in the North West of Skye, which means that if you're short on time and want to aim for the typical sights in the East (the Storr, Quaraing etc.) as well, you'll be doubling, if not tripling, your driving time. We didn't mind as the scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and we like being off the beaten track, so it was perfect for us. Skye's oldest pub is a short drive away, and Dunvegan is easily accessible by car for groceries and restaurants and sights this side of the island. There's so much to see and do. Hilary and Michael provided detailed instructions on how to get to the apartment, as well as handy manuals for the heating and appliances, which was very appreciated. An Cala Beag really is a beautiful little haven and we hope to be back, next time for longer!

The view was fantastic, the hosts were attentive to detail and made a truly wonderful place. Especially for longer stays this would be perfect (although we only stayed 4 days) as the kitchen is fully kitted out!!
