Location: perfectly situated (subway nearby, Nishiki Market 10min from the hotel) Room was well-furnished and nothing was lacking Staff was so nice and so helpful ! They really helped us with the Yamato transfer

The staff was extremely nice and helpful since even before our stay. They helped us with our luggage as we needed to send it to and from Kyoto. Location is nice as it is in a calm street, but walking distance to some of the main markets, stations and shops. Room was comfortable and well equipped. We ended up extending our stay from 3 to 5 nights while we were there and the staff helped us accommodating our needs super last minute.

Nothing really - if I need to say something, breakfast was okay but could have had more options in the buffet.
