Cook's Cottage

It was a delightful property full of Character and style.A joy to spend time In even in poor weather and central to the Main Street and all it offers.

A larger pool would have been nice but not the end of the world

Everything. It has it all. Centrally located, walking distance from main street : shops, restaurants, it provides great services.

Beautiful, cosy home, well located within walking distance of the hustle and bustle of Franschhoek. The cottage has all the comforts you need, well maintained, super comfy beds, and the fireplace was the winner given our winter stay!

Cooks Cottage is amazing. Definitely a "do-over". Tastefully decorated, all the comforts you could wish for including a coffee machine. The location was perfect. A short walk up to the main road, market and wine tram kiosk, but far enough away for it to be lovely and quiet. I will absolutely stay here again.

My only recommendation would be to perhaps add some hooks in the bathroom or at the back of bedroom doors for people to hang their bath towels. Only 1 towel rail in the bathroom is not enough for your towels to dry.

Very nice house, nicely decorated and comfortable, and well equipped. Very good location in Franschhoek.

Weather was very bad during our stay there, and despite the electric heaters and fireplace, we were cold. An additional heater in the bathroom would have been appreciated.
