Bishy Barnabees country lodge with hot tub

Such a lovely lodge in a perfect location with lovely hosts. Just an amazing beautiful place to stay. The Lodge was perfect, homely and comfortable and we all loved the hot tub which was ready, warm and waiting every evening. We loved the animals and the view and there was so many personal gestures and touches, you cannot help but fall in love with the place.

Lovely lodge, clean, well equipped, lots of animals/birds, lovely woodland walk 5 mins away. Hot tub was amazing. Hosts friendly and helpful. Even provided milk and butter, tea bags and hot tub towels, even a washing machine and washing line! Tesco 10min drive away. Beautiful views.definitely be returning. Peaceful little place.

A few cobwebs, which are natural with wood, and pillows a little uncomfortable if you prefer a firmer pillow.Some takeaways only accept cash.

Owner was very attentive and welcoming. Location was excellent for us, with great forrest walks on your doorstep. And the girls loved the hot tub.

Sofa bad was uncomfortable and was woken at 4:30am every morning by the cockerel, although we should have expected that being on a small holding with animals.

I booked the weekend here with my family. Two boys aged 4 and 10 and my husband for my 30th birthday. We were welcomed by Mick with a smile, and he explained everything to us about the lodge and the hot tub. The lodge is in a stunning place with lovely views and waking up, and having a morning coffee with chickens running around was simply just prefect. Mick was extremely helpful throughout our stay, and nothing was too much effort. The lodge was spotless, with fresh eggs, milk, butter, and homemade. Jam was provided. We definitely rate it more than 5 stars. We had the most relaxing weekend and enjoyed celebrating my birthday. Not to forget the banners and balloons and box of chocolates that was up on arrival. Adding was such a lovely touch I would and have already recommended it to others, and we will definitely be returning. There is nothing bad to comment on, nothing to improve on. Simply just a perfect country great away. As you can see from the photos, it's just a lovely place

The lodge was beautiful with all facilities you could wish for and more. The hot tub was lovely and relaxing too.

Lovely weekend away in this very chilled and scenic cabin. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be going back again . Highly recommended if you’re looking for a nice quiet weekend away !!!

Thank you Mick for your hospitality, we have had the best child and dog free weekend! We will Bring them next time! Cabin really well equipped with some extra touches like butter milk and eggs! Bed was comfy and everything clean! Blue and polo were great, even waited at the front door to come and say good morning! The hot tub was amazing! We spent ages in there, you definitely need to invest in some more rubber ducks! Mick was fab and doing such a good job! You made it feel like home from home! Can’t wait to return! Jo and Soph
