Leo's Holiday Cottage

10 family members and plenty of room for all to enjoy Christmas celebrations, beautiful xmas decorations, nice big bedrooms, lovely views, warm, and would return. Everything supplied to enjoy a very pleasant stay, and nice touch of 2 x proseco bottles in fridge.

Nothing really, only slight improvement would be another shower, but understand it's an old cottage.

The location was great - good views out of the back windows. The house is amazing, the rooms are huge and it’s really nicely and tastefully decorated. The furnishings etc are all really good

The hot tub wasn’t working (which they did let us know the day we were due to arrive as previous guests had broken it- they did give us a glass of bubbly to make up for it) they also don’t provide towels more than 2 hands towels - but I don’t feel that was clear on the website write -up! They did give us some as a sorry for the hot tub - just as well as we’d of had to have gone and bought some!

The property was spacious and had useful amenities such as a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, oven etc. There were plenty of cups, pots, pans etc. and dishwasher tablets, hand towels and washing up liquid provided. The cottage was warm and well insulated. We were able to use the hot tub when required and we enjoyed playing pool. There was good parking and we were not disturbed during our stay.

I think the property could do with some updating. For example, some of the fixtures and fittings are looking quite tired. The paint work could be refreshed and finished candles/room scents could be replenished ahead of each stay. I would recommend a replacement of the rugs and bath mats to give a more clean feeling. I think a deep clean of the entire cottage would have helped me give a 10 for my review. For example, there were cobwebs in places, the shower tray needs a really good clean and the carpets a deep clean. We were aware that bath/shower towels were not going to be provided due to seeing other reviews on Air BNB (but none on booking.com) so we brought our own but some guests might not be aware of this so either providing them would be great or making this really clear would be a good idea.

Stunning place & I almost don’t want to say incase everyone starts finding it haha! We want to go back every single year 😍 The decor is so well put together and we had a lovely time in the hot tub too, thank you!
