Buasawan Resort & Restaurant

I absolutely adored this place, but it won't be for everyone. The staff are lovely, but very relaxed and not around all the time. The facilities are basic - no restaurant on site, but a fridge and kettle in the room. Plenty of cupboard space for storage. Hot water in the bathroom. Water, soap, shampoo, coffee (nescafe sachets) and creamer added each day. Comfort - The bed and pillows were very comfortable Location - I loved this spot as it's about 20 minutes walk / 10 minutes by bike away from the bridge. As such, it's very quiet and relaxed. They have a large outside area and a little floating space and you can swim in the river directly from the steps or from the boat launch ramp (better as there's less river foliage!).

Cleanliness - not the best cleanliness, I had cobwebs in my bathroom, but the actual bedroom was clean enough.

Location is everything! Set on the edge of the Kwai River, the view was breathtaking. Owners appear to be constantly cleaning and fixing things up. We stayed in cabin 4, right next to the river and enjoyed it all.

Based on a star rating, I would give it a 4, as think it was darn near perfect. Others may take issue with the dip in the floor and bathroom fixtures.

Breakfast wasn't included. Some decorations and fixtures needed to be repaired or replaced.

Staff were very helpful and the surroundings were beautiful.

2 times we stayed here and no restaurant ,so why it's called Buasawan Resort and Restaurant if they not open restaurant ,also the wood cabins need maintenance done ,in bad state of disrepair

Nice location right on the River Kwai ,check in good and car parked beside the small villa we booked

Restaurant not open and very long distance to go to get food , fan in toilet was covered in spider webs and webs hanging front roof

The staff is very nice and polite. I feel like home and safe even I travel alone.

Only the road to resort that isn’t good but it is not resort fault.
