Akagera guide's House

The room and entire house was really beautiful and clean! The staff helped us a lot with every Need and give us many suggestions before visiting Akagera Park. We stay for just One night but would have stayed more! Highly raccomended!

The staff was very nice and helpful, they helped us to organise a safari in Akagera NP and transport to Burundi. The room facilirties are basic but it is definitely enough. The bathroom was clean, with hot water. Breakfast was also good. They also have a nice patio to relax in the evening.

Friendly and super helpful staff. They helped us organized a super spantaneous safari trip to akagera park including guide. They packed us the breakfast so we could take it along.

The fridge was pretty dirty, also we lacked pillow cases for the pillows.

Leave after one night, even paid already for two. The experience is horrible. The owner of this hotel is unfriendly and unprofessional. The price system is extremely confused and the only thing that they think about is asking for more money. They don’t have car or driver-guide by themselves. The price is same that you go directly from Kigali, no need to stay here. Their chicken start to crowing at 4AM!!!! And the house is near the main road which you can barely not sleep for the whole night!! We doubt the cleanliness of the rooms. And there’s only one bathroom for three rooms! The worst is: the guide that they recommended said to our young female companion: you should get married to a Rwandan man and I can recommend you one!!!!!!!!! It’s extremely offensive and unacceptable! Worst travel experience in the world.

Close to Akagera safari park. Homely feel, prepared us nice breakfast and dinner!

The beds were quite hard.

The accommodation was close to the national park akagera . Owner was very kind and helpfull Every evening they made a fire for us in the garden

Very weak internet connection

house complete with essential furnishings, wifi, TV, very welcoming with efficient and kind staff, the camping tent available and the fire lit in the evening in the garden made the children very happy,

Lovely welcome and Patrick looked after us brilliantly. He prepared a meal that was the best we had in the 2 weeks we spent in Rwanda.

The bathroom was a little scruffy but functional and plenty of hot water and good quality towels.

Staff has been incredibly welcoming, friendly and professional. We had a great stay. The food was delicious, the place was quite and clean. A campfire was set for us after dinner and when we asked to pack lunch last minute, that was promptly catered for. The rooms are very nice and spacious. Location is also great as just a few minutes ride from the park.
