25 Maiden Street, a Weymouth Townhouse

Went to the property with my wife, 4 children and 5 month old baby. I had to park my car on the other end of town as it was mostly permit parking. When I went to pick up the car it had a flat battery and had to wait until the AA came to look at the car which took from 9 to 11:30. My wife waited at the house with the children. When colin the owner of the house arrived , my wife explained to him the situation and he said that my wife had to leave the house with all the luggage immediatley as the cleaners were coming. My wife explained we have 4 kids and a 5 month old baby, the weather was torrential and he expected her to stand out on the street in the rain with the children, baby all the luggage (you can only imagine how much luggage 4 children and a baby have). He frightened our children and left my wife in tears. When i called him he said he had put back the cleaners until 1pm which he should have offered to do in the first place. As a man he should be utterly ashamed of himself. He made an extremely stressful situation worse.

It is a lovely townhouse with a great décor throughout. It has great facilities including a washing machine, dishwasher, iron, and ironing board. There is even a bucket and spade and inflatable swim ring for children to use at the beach. There are three bathrooms on different levels which is very handy. The location is excellent. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. It is also a short walk to the beach and harbour. There is also a loading bay near the front of the house which is ideal to drop off luggage and load the luggage into the car. The listing mentions that there is no Wi-Fi but there is Wi-Fi available. The host is very helpful and is easily contactable if there are any problems.

There isn't anything to dislike about the house. It would be nice if all the windows in the house could open. Also if there was a mop and bucket for the kitchen.

The location of the property was excellent and central to all the areas eg beach, harbour and shops.

We found that the area is very noisy at night with lots of people screaming and shouting when leaving the pubs. This went on until the early hours.

We had an absolutely fabulous time away! This house is stunning 😍 Beautiful decor throughout and very comfortable for our 3 night stay. Everything there that we needed and perfect location for the beach/ harbour and shops. Friendly and very helpful host Thank you! 😊

the dining room chairs where so uncomfortable and we where worried they would break, many of the windows do not open, it was extremely noisy
