Missing laundry access

Was a welcoming haven to travel weary clients, looking for a home away from home. Well informed welcoming letter, adequate recomendation to shops, and entertainment. And contact numbers. House is serviced dly. Beautiful location, stunning interior, and ocean views, and top end finishers, lots of attention to detail

Given the location, frequent invasion of privacy, neibours ringing the bell and asking to use the pool, neibours gathering with coffee perching on the steps in front of glass enclosed stoep, staring you down and admiring the sea view, The glass enclosure does not afford privacy to sit on the stoep or swim in the pool, or enjoy sundowners or sunrises with the family.. The hot water in bath was an issue, water out of tap was luke warm, trying to have a bath, not an option, especially as it was winter After the matter was reported we were told that the matter would get attention before the next tenants moved in. . Ablutions for a female is very challenging with only fixed shower head.

It was so inconvenient with many issues in the house that we requested a refund from the manager after our first night there - she refused and told us we were too dramatic. The reasons we couldn’t stay, even without any refund: No communication beforehand - I had to contact and inquire on the day of arrival if everything is in place for our stay This venue is actually 2 properties in one - a room that is at the front door and separated by an internal door from the house - and then the main house. We rented the house and could not use the front door because of fear that we might use the apartment. We had to park next to the house and use the side gate past the swimming pool to gain access on the deck - this was highly inconvenient as it was freezing cold with wind and rain. Upon entering the cleaner showed us the bedrooms - 2 small ones downstairs sharing a separate bathroom with bath & shower and a separate toilet; and one small bedroom upstairs with a separate toilet next to it. The main bedroom was locked and not available for guests. The house has cement flooring all throughout and is super cold inside. We immediately switched on the gas fireplace but the house didn’t warm up much . There are blankets provided in the living room but we were unable to warm up. After some time the fireplace stopped working and we couldn’t get it to work again. There were no other heaters available in the living room or in the rooms; no electric blankets. There is underfloor heating in the rooms but we were unable to switch it on. The blanket in the bedroom cupboard did not cover the bed and I had to search in other cupboards for blankets that was big enough. The warm water to shower was only available for around 2 minutes before it turned luke warm - I had to wash my hair and had to finish that off in freezing cold water. The DSTV did not work but the cleaner tried sorting it out - it eventually worked for about half an hour and then kicked us out.

The geyser couldn’t supply enough hot water. One available bathroom for 6+ guests

The location is pretty incredible! The house is amazing, being able to open up the glass door/walls to the outside makes it a really special space. Pictures don't do it justice. Is a housekeeper who was very lovely and helpful.
