Hamada Du Draa

We enjoyed the pool and bar a lot.

We did not receive the room we booked, and the bathroom did not feel very clean.

The garden around the swimming pool is great, an oasis of tranquility, and so fresh and lush and green compared to the Sahara desert just outside. We spent quite some time just relaxing under the palm trees reading, napping or playing card games, and escaping the dusty heat outside during the noon hours. Breakfast is also served around the pool, a great start into the day. Beds were hard (a common pattern in Morocco) but slightly more comfortable than in other places.

Our room smelled like toilet, badly. Keeping the window open all day did not help. The place has seen better days and is a bit run down.

Lovely pool area, good wifi, plentiful hot water in the shower, comfy beds and a delicious breakfast. Easy to walk into town but far enough out to be peaceful and quiet.

Nice hotel, pool, bar and restaurant very nice. Staff very friendly.

Room was hot (mid May). Air conditioning noisy. Altbough manager told us the wind and sand causes the ac unit vibrate (it was windy). There were 2 bugs in the shower area.

Private, spacious bungalow with comfortable beds and effective air-con. The Berber-style shower was great, with plenty of hot water. The pool looked lovely and the WiFi in public areas was good. Plentiful supply of beer/wine etc behind the bar, which is very welcome.

The staff was great and helpful. They arranged the trip to Sahara and it was a great one, all met our expectations and more.

The swimming pool was being repaired, so we couldn't use it. We understand that it must be repaired from time to time, the remark is just that Booking.com should not offer a facility with a swimming pool for the time when it is not available.
