Hostel Inn Kyoto Gion

The position of the Hostel was great. Value for money is pretty good. I had 2 different rooms during my staying (with 2 reservations). Very kind people at the reception, they have a bike rental service which is great in Kyoto. They also had a bar which seems closed now. I had washing machine and drier which were great.

The first room I stayed in had shadowed glass windows so I couldn't see outside. In the second room although I had two single matresses united, only one was set up (I was solo traveller). I believe standard would want both bed to be set up regardless of the fact that I was on my own.

Tranquilité et emplacement

Le petit espace cuisinette / bar appartenant à l’hôtel était fermé tous les 4 jours de notre séjour et il n’y avait pas de restaurant tout près ni de cafetière fournie alors il a fallu sortir à environ 300m pour du café tous les matins…. Prévoyez le coup si vous êtes des adeptes 😉. Mon mari a trouvé le lit mou, moi je l’aimais bien Pas de linge à vaisselle de fournie

Great for accomodating bigger groups, our apartment was very spacous. The location is really great, everything is reachable by foot or short ride.

Our dryer did not function properly, but there was another common one we could use. The apartment needs some thorough cleaning (there is A LOT of dust and even food bits under beds, for example.

L’emplacement est très bien. Dans Gion mais au calme. Tout proche de la rivière. La chambre et assez spacieuse

Le lit du salon nécessiterai d’être revu. Il était mal fixé. De plus c’est un lit simple. Je pense qu’il serait plus judicieux de mettre le lit double de la chambre dans le salon et de mettre le lit simple du salon dans la chambre. L’espace serait ainsi mieux exploité. Ainsi parents et enfants pourraient avoir 2 espaces distincts
