Great location, seemed to be 30 minutes in any direction to major towns for sightseeing. Big place lots of room, excellent kitchen with large table to all gather around. Massive sitting room & table great for doing jigsaw or playing board games. Down a long lane so nice for dog walks & meeting many local people who were happy to chat. Lots of hot water. Nice welcome pack of eggs, biscuits, crisp, & a pint of milk. Also with an envelope to place £30 surcharge for heating fuel. It's a nice place but some of the finishes could be better but it's a rental so guess not too important. We enjoyed our stay there.

Bed mattresses are older style & not that comfortable, when staying in the top room I woke during the night as it was cold, wasn't keen to get out of bed to use the toilet It was that chilly. Didn't have enough towels provided for the amount of people staying & phoned & messaged the owners but got no response. When booking originally the booking agent did not respond and cancelled the booking 24 hrs later & again with another property they deal with, luckily I searched on booking.com & found & booked it through there but given the problem of booking it I took out insurance In case anything went wrong, I should have saved my money.
