Manque d’ustensiles de cuisine et un seul verre à vin. Et je pense que nous avons testé les pires canapé et fauteuil de tous nos séjours. Idem pour l’armoire buffet qui n’est pas entièrement fixée et montée.

Great location, large and clean unit, washing machine very useful after weeks on the road.

Wonderful Italy website for early check-in was poor. Multiple attempts were met with url could not be found, freezing, and send button not working. This all led to our delayed check-in, the host at Cefalu was not going to give up his siesta 2 hours early to meet us with entry code.

Schlafsofa und schlafhocker sind nicht zu gebrauchen

The apartment is located right in the center of Cefalù, just a 5-minute walk from the cathedral and 5 minutes from the beach. It is a very spacious and bright apartment, perfect for 3 people – maximum 4. The kitchen is basically equipped and also includes some extras (olive oil, salt, pepper, etc.). A big advantage of this apartment is the two separate bathrooms. On the day of our arrival, there was water waiting for us in the fridge – a nice touch. The air conditioning worked very well. We didn’t use the TV, but there are televisions available in two rooms. Guests also have a beach umbrella at their disposal. The host provided clear instructions for check-in and key collection. Communication with the host was excellent.

The downside of staying in this apartment is the rather poor furnishing. There were no bedside tables or dressers in the bedroom, which meant we had to keep our phones and other small items on the floor. Two clothes racks (partly already occupied) were definitely not enough – there was no proper space to put backpacks, clothes, or even the remote control. There is a dresser in the living room, but it hasn’t been assembled yet. Perhaps it’s a work in progress. Similarly, in one of the bathrooms, apart from the fixtures, there wasn’t a single place to put clothes or toiletries. The hosts also require online check-in – this, of course, makes the procedure easier. However, personally, I’m not a fan of sending ID photos over the internet; I believe there should also be an alternative check-in option available.

Struttura nuova è ottimamente posizionata nel cuore di Cefalù

Mancavano elementi di arredo utili per un soggiorno medio lungo, come comodini , cassettiera e arredo bagno (porta rotolo e porta asciugamani). L’elemento più negativo di tutti è stata l’assistenza sul posto, praticamente inesistente. Ho provato alcune volte a contattare l’host tramite Booking senza avere alcuna risposta. Solo telefonicamente rispondeva un centralino da Milano, che nel nostro caso ( siamo rimasti bloccati con il treno) non è stato in grado di aiutarci.

Location was perfect! We traveled by train from Napoli and it was an easy 10 minute walk from the station. We were close to restaurants, bars, grocery stores and the beach! Communication was straight forward and access to the property was well organised. We loved our stay!
