"Great place for a Drakensberg retreat"

Picturesque and quiet location (plenty of natural wildlife sounds, though), hospitable staff, very convenient that the restaurant is on site and you don’t have to drive anywhere to get food. The pizza, lasagna and ginger beer are fantastic! Breakfasts are very nice, too. We felt full for a long time. The interior of our cabin was lovely and cozy. We appreciated the heater that helped us dry our wet clothes after a rainy hike in Drakensberg.

The bed is a bit too short and a bit too narrow even for a couple of slim people. The water temperature in the shower wasn’t stable so get ready for some sudden contrasts. The WiFi doesn’t work if it’s cloudy.

Staff are amazing! Shout out to Pha, Thande and Sonto! Best Pizza and Lasagna. Breakfast amazing. 15 min drive to some of the best hikes in the world! Left with a renewed soul!

This is our 4th stay at Tower of pizza. Exterior can maybe do with a paint but other than that this is a gem of a stay!

The location was good for the reason of my trip

We needed to change our breakfast time to 6;45 instead of 7:15, as we had to leave early, there was no staff to arrange this with. We called, the number didn't work. BreKfast was booked for 7:15 and the staff had just arrived at work at 7:10 when we needed to check out. So even if we waited it would not have been ready.

Breakfast was really nice, and the pizza. The location was convenient for the purpose of our trip.

The towels were clean but old and faded. One of the blankets was torn. We had to ask for iron every time we needed to use it.

Breakfast was great. Freshly cooked and served hot. Hot and cold options as part of the meal

Thatch roofs which meant insects and bugs (spiders, etc) kept falling onto the beds and the utilities. No TV in the room. Lots of potholes on the road to and from the accommodation.

Breakfast was excellent, staff were very friendly and accommodating, The room was clean and tidy and had all the basics. Great escape from the hustle and bustle, location and food are both amazing!!!
