The Hideaway Apartment, Bath

Prima locatie net buiten de stad. Loop door de velden in 20 minuten naar het centrum en met de bus terug. Die stopt bijna voor de deur. Mooi klein studio-appartementje. Smaakvol ingericht. Alles aanwezig, maar klein.

Estaba todo muy limpio y el sitio es bonito y decorado con gusto. Eliza fue una buena anfitriona, solucionando rápido un par de cosas que faltaban y siempre respetando la provacidad. La ubicación está un poco alejada del centro, pero el paseo para ir es muy bonito. Y para volver se pueden coger autobuses o un taxi.

The Hideaway apartment is attached to a private house. The room is exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. A well appointed kitchen, with everything one needs. After three weeks on the road we were looking forward to being in control of preparing our own food. The place is on top of Bathwick hill a good location close to public transport.

Thankfully we had a small car, parking is tight in their front yard. We found parking in Bath itself a nightmare, best to go early and park in one of the multi storied parks.

Fijn situatie! Comfortabel bed, fijne badkamer

Wij misten een oven, bakkers en supermarkt waren ver weg, dus zou makkelijker zijn om broodjes af te bakken en eten klaar maken! Alleen met microwave kan je niet veel. Combi zou fijn zijn! Stoelen buiten zat niet lekker, moelijk om buiten te zitten op een lekker zomer avond!

It's on Bathwick Hill and there is some road noise but not bad at night.

Spotlessly Clean and Free Parking

The property boasts High Speed Broadband, however we had no Internet whatsoever during our stay, despite following all the troubleshooting advice in the house manual.

The Hideaway felt so homely and cosy! It was great to have our own entrance and parking spot which meant we weren’t a hindrance to the host at any point. It was spotlessly clean and had lots of little amenities including games, information books on the area and even lovely shower products.

No issues at all we had a great stay. The property however was situated at the top of a very long steep hill - not for the faint hearted if walking back! Does offer lovely views over Bath if you do walk up/down. There’s a bus that stops on the road towards the university you can catch for a couple of pounds per journey and it’s every 10/15 mins, and taxis are available also so wasn’t a problem for us at all.
