USThe check in was good. It has a pool with waterslides. Looked like new paint, and newish flooring.
Spiders, mold, odor. Pool didn't have seating in the room. Slides looked like McDonald's play place slides and had a garden hose at the top. Beach access was on the other side of highway 23. We stayed 2 hours and decided to go somewhere else.
USUSThe staff is very friendly. My husband enjoyed relaxing in a hammock, while I walked the grounds, and our grandchildren loved the waterpark pool.
Breakfast was just fruit, cereal, muffins and toast. We did not partake, but enjoyed Mama's Kitchen instead.

Upon arrival the office had an overwhelming and unpleasant smell of food. The attendant came from a back room where it seemed his family lived as I could hear children yelling. He quickly checked me in to the room. Check in was a breeze. When we arrived to our room it was dark and first impression was not great. Large debris left right in the middle of the walk way. Everything is dated,dingy & stained. Upon further inspection we opted to strip the bed completely and use our own linens. I found food and used tissue at the foot of the bed under the dust ruffle. The refrigerator had someone’s Diet Coke from the last stay. As a professional cleaner myself was hesitant to stay but was so tired from a long day working and several hour drive decided to sanitize all high traffic surfaces (including the light switches because they were so soiled) and stay. We woke up early to continue our travels, quickly packed and headed for checkout. A new attendant checked us out. While checking us out another guest was approaching the office whom the attendant rudely addressed when she entered (she was locked out of her room) The attendant told the guest she was being too loud outside which wasn’t true, as I stood right there as she was speaking to my husband about the crumby weather, you couldn’t hear either of them. Immediately the guest was embarrassed and apologized. Unfortunately for this place we won’t be back.
