There was a strange smell as soon as I entered the house. I saw a previous guest comment on this in the comments section, but I didn't believe it until I moved in! Every time my wife and I showered at night, the water went from hot to cold. It was obvious that this landlord was extremely stingy. After we checked out, the landlord embezzled the deposit, claiming the carpet was dirty, there were water stains in the kitchen, and there was slime on the TV! I never touched the TV. As for the carpet and kitchen stains, my question is, can you really expect your property to be cleaner after each stay? Aren't your carpets consumables? Couldn't your cleaner just wipe up the kitchen stains with a rag? It's ridiculous that you're withholding a £203 deposit based on this! Cleaning is included in the room rate, and you said it only covers basic cleaning. So, what's the high-level cleaning requirement for cleaning the kitchen stains? And what about the slime on the TV? First of all, I don't know what it was because I didn't touch the TV, and secondly, couldn't your cleaner just clean it? You're trying to pocket my entire £203 deposit. You think slime on a TV show isn't enough, and then you're using dirty carpets and water stains in the kitchen as excuses! I urge everyone not to rent from this apartment. I also want to point out that the bed was incredibly uncomfortable! The stovetop was incredibly underpowered! And to top it off, there was no hot water for my shower at night!

"The apartment suited me perfectly. I would have no hesitation in renting again if I ever returned."

The location, so close to the train station and tram stop, was fantastic for me. I did not need to use any other form of transport to the Nottingham Hockey Centre. The bathroom and kitchen were good. As were the laundry facilities and the lounge areas.

The weather was very warm and I could not find a way to cool the rooms, apart from using the blinds.

Looks and comfort was great

Bedroom had a distinct body odor smell which was off putting and not nice. Property was also very hot inside and should have some sort of ac or fan system

"Beyond disappointing experience"

The property was clean and well presented. If there had only been two of us staying then all would have been perfect

Our deposit was taken twice and it took weeks and weeks and multiple phone calls to get back. I also was charged an admin fee on both deposits taken which in the end gave uk trying to get back (it’s not my fault the deposit was taken twice!) The booking was for 3 people, when arriving we noticed there was no bedding or towels for a third person. I rang to query why and they apologised saying someone would be out first thing to bring some. We arrived back the following evening after a long day at a sporting event to find that in fact nobody had been, not even a phone call to apologise. I had to call back again to be told that if I wanted bedding I could go out to buy some myself and they’d reimburse me later. As it was late and I had no clue where to go I said no. Instead for two nights we had to squeeze into a double bed and got very little sleep. The WiFi didn’t work and the TV didn’t connect to it so no entertainment either which with my two daughters was a bit of a nightmare! I raised the issues with both Prim short stays and Booking.com and neither helped with a resolution. I was charged for three people, I did not receive this yet full payment was still taken. Absolutely useless. I appreciate mistakes can happen but resolutions should be found when a company is blatantly in the wrong.

The location is very, very good. Walking distance to train/bus, pubs, City Ground. Also a very quiet industrial neighbourhood (at least for my Fri - Mon stay). The kitchen is well equipped. Coffee and tea was provided. Bed and sofa bed were both comfortable. The decor is very welcoming. Linens for the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom were excellent.

There were not actual sheets for the sofabed. Only duvets with no covers. It is a fairly warm, airless apartment, and although the windows open, there are no screens. I used the provided fan continuously during my stay with daytime temps in the low to mid 20s. The fan made it comfortable but this may be an issue for some on hot days as I don't think there is air conditioning. When we arrived the front door was propped open (someone moving boxes in) and there was a lot of smelly trash out front. Not a great first impression, but not really in the control of Prim Short Stays. If you get past that, the apartment is nice and clean.

"Comfy stay, already booked again"

Apartment is modern and clean. Looks exactly like the photos. Easy to find and good location.

Only down side is it was really warm, even with all the windows open and it’s only April. I imagine come summer it will be unbearable. I would recommend they add a fan, that guests can plug in and use if required.
