Happy Days, Claremont

I loved the apartment's cleanliness, the spacious open plan, the safe environment in the area and the prompt response from the host when we needed assistance.

The bed's mattresses are a little hard and I would recommend the changing of it in future.

The cottage was beautiful; very light, spacious, well-equipped and well-designed. (It's better than the photos.) The outdoor space was lovely too: private, with a braai. We also appreciated the washing machine. The host was friendly and welcoming. It was in good location, easy to get to where we needed to be. It is close to the main road, but you don't hear it - it's very quiet. We loved our stay and plan to return.

There are a lot of windows and the sun is hot in summer, so managing the temperature (so it doesn't get too hot in summer) is a bit of a challenge, but it worked for us. There were also mosquitos but they provide a plug to deter them which worked well. These were minor issues compared to all the pros.

The location was great. We need to be at Rondebosch High and it was just around the corner.

Everything was perfect. I would just have liked a small milk for my coffee with the amenities.

Spaciousness and friendly welcome. It was close to Keurboom Park and The Western Province Cricket Club that we were able to walk to through the park, where my son was playing hockey for England. The shops were 800m away. Good basic provisions were supplied.

It was a bit cold in the evenings but we had a nice warm blanket to put over us on the sofa. The TV was very complicated but the host came and helped us sort it out so that we could eventually watch a programme.

the shower is very slippery, almost fell twice. a non-slip mat will do .

The place is sufficient for a couple, has all the necessities and is located in a quiet neighbourhood. Has a nice cosy feel to it, with a lot off potential. Friendly owners that had us chatting for 15 minutes after our stay.

Wifi signal needs to be boosted. DSTV login needs to be sorted. As discussed with the owner, the lounge window needs to be frosted for a bit more privacy as they themselves suggested.
