Riad Dar Hanae

Very well modernised riad. There are two bathrooms shared between the 5 or so rooms, and they are big, modern bathrooms with great shower etc. The kitchen is very well equipped with stove, microwave, fridge, lots of utensils. A common/dining area with enough room to store a bicycle or two. Quite a few stairs. The queen rooms look lovely and spacious. My room had a window, huge, comfortable bed, table, a coat stand, sidelight, electric points. The location is great: be ready for one of the busiest parts of the medina, and...it actually has a sign outside! I don't understand some reviews going on about the hospitality - there's no-one there most of the time. It's basically like an airbnb, which suited me. Helpful Saad is on hand via WhatsApp if you need anything, but it isn't a homestay, hotel or hostel setup. Quiet at night. Really nice rooftop. Free laundry. So, in many ways, truly excellent...

... but, on the downside, my 'superior double' room had very little free space not taken up by the bed. Just enough room to open the door and put down a bag or two. The place is not cleaned regularly e.g. kitche/roof bins not emptied for a few days. The thick riad walls mean that wifi is very weak in the rooms at the top of the house. The bathrooms are on different floors than the bedrooms. So, pretty good value overall.

Excellent location in the old city. Staff are helpful and friendly.

One bathroom and in the 0 floor. Parking is far from the Dar, if you carry luggage, you have to rent somebody to carry.

Ficámos encantados com a estadia no Riad Dar Hanae! A casa é uma autêntica joia da Medina de Tetouan, cheia de charme e história, mas com o conforto de uma remodelação recente e muito bem cuidada. O estilo tradicional foi preservado com elegância, criando um ambiente acolhedor e único. O Saad, nosso anfitrião, foi incrivelmente atencioso. Além de nos receber com muita simpatia, deu-nos dicas valiosas sobre a cidade, desde os melhores locais para comer até aos cantinhos escondidos da Medina. Foi um verdadeiro diferencial na nossa experiência!

Todo nos encantó de este alojamiento la Decoración era muy bonita y la ubicación es perfecta , saad nos ayudó en todo y nos dio una cálida bienvenida, sin duda volveremos!

Lo mejor es la ubicación. Los baños pese a ser compartidos, estaban muy bien.

Al dar la habitación a la calle, a veces hay ruido para dormir.

Super literie tres confortable. Emplacement central. Douche bien chaude. Personne de l acceuil sympa et serviable. Très propre

Nous n'avions pas vu que les sanitaires etaient communs et pas sur le même pallier que la chambre. C est precisé sur booking mais pas tres clairement. Quand on regarde les photos de la chambre on a l impression que la douche est dans la chambre. Endroit assez bruyant jusqu'a 22h30. Riad sans vie car le personnel local n y vit pas. Tres peu de place autour du lit car entre 2 murs. Juste une chaise pour poser ses vetements. Obligé de faire secher la serviette sur l armoire. Porte d entrée super galère a ouvrir avec la clé Pas de petit dejeuner inclus. Pas de coup de coeur pour ce riad.

Youness muy atento con nosotros. Se encargaron de organizar nuestra recogida en el aeropuerto y de reservar una furgoneta para el traslado a nuestro siguiente destino. El Riad está genial, en varias alturas y los niños lo han disfrutado mucho. Localizado dentro de la Medina, ideal para callejerar. Sin duda, repetiríamos si nos volvemos a hospedar en Tetuán.
