The Lawrence of Arabia Hotel

Great location directly by the beach, great property with high grounds and character, hotel themed nicely for interest, fabulous lounge to spend time in. Friendly and professional service from Richard and Theresa. Great full English breakfast complete with Hogs Pudding - a must try, and delicious local delicacy.

The hotel is ideally placed on the seafront being within a few minutes walk of the railway station and bus stops. It is clean, comfortable and well appointed and the hosts were friendly, helpful All pubs, shops and restaurants are within a short walk and along with the beach, there are a number of places of interest within easy reach. The best bits; the comfortable bed and an excellent breakfast cooked to order.

Nothing in particular. The lighting could be a bit brighter and the shower a bit more powerful, but overall it was hard to find fault.

Very welcoming hosts who happily shared their knowledge of the local area. Their hotel is a homage to T. E Lawrence, full of interesting artefacts and articles. The rooms are themed accordingly. The comfortable upstairs sittingroom overlooks the beach and there are even binoculars availablle to scan the horizon! The linen is of excellent quality, toiletries are provided and the beds are extremely comfy. Breakfast was fabulous and cooked to order with plenty of choice. Richard and Theresa have put a great deal of thought, care and attention to detail into providing a unique environmemt for their hotel guests.
