It was close to the airport

The location was brilliant, close to a supermarket and central to everywhere that we wanted to go. The house was very clean and well laid out. There was plenty of off-street parking and the cycle trail was right outside the front gate. It would have been nice to have a secure area for the bikes - the shed had no door and the conservatory door did not shut or lock.

There were not enough plates, glasses and cutlery. We had 6 staying and since the house sleeps 9, expected to have at least 9 of everything. The fish tank was very noisy until we topped up the water in the tank. The cupboard door in the kitchen where the rubbish bin is, was hard to open and did not close.

Location was great - close to the University and supermarkets. A bit of trick to find as the entrance is right by the lights on a busy road, but once you know it was fine.

The host contacted us part way through our stay to ask us to pay for extra visitors that they had seen on the cameras. We did not have any extra stay the night, they just stayed later than 11pm. The request and information that they were watching us come and go was unsettling and while the house was very nice and the location great. We would not stay here again.

Tricky entrance on a busy intersection

The house had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable for a group of 5 friends. With 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it was a perfect fit for our group. Off-street parking was adequate for 4 cars. The location was good, although being on a corner with traffic lights and median strip, it could only be accessed via a left turn from Old South Road heading west. It would have been helpful to know that in advance!

It was rather noisy due to being next to a main road, and the house vibrated when heavy vehicles passed. Initially I thought there were small earthquakes!

The property is amazing.. there were seven of us and we all had our own bedroom. The house was in immaculate condition and one could not find a better place to stay for a family. We were able to enjoy the company of other family members on the Friday night who were staying elsewhere. They were also very impressed with the property. Very central to the downtown, airport and the wedding venue at The Vines which we were attending. Also not too far to the University where our youngest granddaughter will be next year so visited it.

Only difficulty was finding the entrance way on our arrival. Once in it was no problem again.

Clean and tidy house, close to the university and the pick up for the snowman shuttle, was only a 10 minute walk. Supermarket and takeaways were only 8 minutes' walk. Perfect location!
