My Happy Place

The apartment has interesting and vibrant interior, the cleanliness was spotless and the host was really joyful and eager to help. I would definitely recommend staying at this apartment to anyone having second thoughts, it looks even better than pictures show, it's evident there was a lot of effort given into the apartment and with hosts hospitality basically staying at it makes you feel at home.

The only thing to keep in mind if you are coming by a car is that the street in which the apartment is located has a row of parallel parked cars on each side, and since the street itself is pretty narrow it can be challenging to pass if you have a wider car. The entrance to the garage is even more narrow so getting into it the would be challenging as well if your car is bigger. The host was helpful with navigating through it, so it wasn't an issue in the end.

My happy place nije apartman za izdavanje, vi tamo dolazite u dom. Kao i u svakom domu tako i u ovom imate apsolutno sve sto vam je potrebno - od posudja preko pegle za peglanje, cetke za kosu, fena, espreso kapsula, caja... Prezadovoljna sam smestajem. Chaira je izuzetan domacin, imate ogromnu potrebu da je zagrlite.🤗 Jedna od prednosti je privatna garaza jer je naci parking u Trstu nemoguca misija. Do centra grada imate 15- tak minuta laganog hoda. Chaira ima fasciklu gde je objasnjeno sve sto vam treba da vas boravak u Trstu bude sto kvalitetniji. Odusevljeni smo, svaka preporuka.

Apsolutno sve je bilo fantasticno

The apartment was clean and very nicely tastefully furnished, we felt very comfortable in it. The bathroom was large, clean and fully equipped, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped. The air conditioning was also an advantage. The hostess was very pleasant and helpful, she was waiting for us upon arrival and explained and showed us everything. We had a parking space in the underground, which was a great advantage for us, although a larger car might have trouble fitting in. Small bottles of mineral water and croissants were waiting for us upon arrival, and we had coffee available. There are small shops and restaurants nearby, the center is within walking distance, but there is also public transport. We were there for 2 days, during which we visited Miramare Castle, the city center and the highlight was a visit to the National Sanctuary on Monte Grisa. For lovers of modern architecture, it is a must-see and there is a beautiful view of the whole of Trieste from there. It is a shame that you will not find this place in any guidebook. You can also get there by public transport.

The only downside was the noise from passing cars and motorbikes at night from the street, but especially the neighbor behind the wall, who had the radio or TV on all night, so I had to use earplugs to sleep.

Appartamento al terzo piano con ascensore completo di tutto: aria condizionata, lavastoviglie, cucina attrezzata e lavatrice. Letto comodissimo, ma sopratutto livello di pulizia altissimo. Il centro di Trieste è a portata di mano e soprattutto da non trascurare la comodità di avere il parcheggio incluso sotto al palazzo al chiuso. Chiara super disponibile e accogliente, ti attende sotto casa e ti spiega dettagliatamente tutto ciò che c'è da sapere sulla casa e su Trieste. Se dovete soggiornare a Trieste è veramente l'ideale, alloggio a 5 stelle 🔝

Very clean, and very well decorated. Big space, also very close to center. Owner also made sure to show us all good places to visit, and was very kind. Recommended!!

Chiara je úplně skvělá hostitelka. Snaží se myslet úplně na vše, se vším pomůže a poradí. Byt je asi 15 minut chůzí od centra, takže všude je blízko. Nic nám tu nechybělo.

Starý, malý výtah v domě působí trošku děsivě. A sjezd do garáže je malý adrenalinový zážitek.

An artfully decorated modern apartment, very spacious, with very confortable beds, fully equiped modern kitchen and a private parking spase in the basement.

Chiara verwelkomde ons op een erg vriendelijke wijze en gaf een volledige en goede uitleg over het appartement. Het appartement was erg netjes, het bed was zacht, (bijna) alle comfort was aanwezig.

De isolatie laat te wensen over: tegen de warmte is er een airco aanwezig (die goed werkt), maar tegen de geluidsoverlast (straat, lawaaierige buren) kan je alleen maar oordopjes gebruiken. De wandelafstand tot de interessante plaatsen in Triest is min. 15 tot 20 minuten, maar als je graag wandelt hoeft dit natuurlijk geen nadeel te zijn.

We deliberately looked for accommodation where parking was available. This was a very good decision, because without a parking lot in Trieste it would have been quite a challenge to find a parking place for a relatively big car. Upon our arrival, the host was waiting for us in front of the house and was willing to help us from showing us the dedicated parking space to getting to the apartment. Chiara, the host, was incredibly kind and direct during our prior communications and also when we met in person. She provided us with useful advice, restaurant recommendations and travel tips. The apartment was super clean and very well equipped, exactly as shown in the photos. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was huge and crystal clean, the kitchen size was perfect for us. We really liked that there was a huge counter in the bathroom where we could comfortably put all our things. We've stayed in many clean private homes before, but we've never been in an apartment as clean as this one. Next time we are in Trieste we will definitely stay here again.
