I had a lovely stay for a couple of days at Maya Rue Hotel. It was clean and all the staff helpful and friendly. A good location if you don’t want to be near the ruins. I walked from the ADO station and close to square and other restaurants. A lavanderia very close on same street.

No lift but I was kindly helped with my bags.

The location was very central, the room had air conditioning and the breakfast was nice.

The street was quite noisy at night so had to put in earplugs to sleep.

Im Zentrum, daher viele Geschäfte, Restaurants und der "Parque Central" - der Hauptplatz - fußläufig erreichbar. Und jetzt für alle, die bisher über ein dürftiges Frühstück gemeckert haben, ein komplettes, ausgiebiges Frühstück mit Omelette und Eiern nach Wunsch, auch mexikanisch, Obst, Saft, Toastbrot und Kaffee/Tee. Ausgesprochen freundliches Personal. Mein Favorit in Palenque!

Durch die zentrale Lage bedingt, viel Verkehrslärm.

We had a stalled car battery and the owner came over to help start it again.

The room was clean and the shower was hot, the breakfast was included and was simple but adequate

This hotel is in the centre of town, not in the La Canada, tourist area of the town so there are only local food places and shops close by. The tourist area where there is a larger choice of restaurants and cafes is around a 7 minute walk. It was near the main street so was quite noisy.
