To begin with, we chose the address and photos in the ad, which said it was on Áurea Street. The ad showed photos of the rooms and described it as a studio apartment (meaning a studio apartment with a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen). Everything seemed fine based on the ad; we were very satisfied. However, 30 minutes before check-in, they sent a message with a different address, saying it was nearby (which it was), but it wasn't a studio apartment at all. It was on a strange street, the building entrance was full of trash, the lobby was dark with no lighting (we had to use our phone's flashlight to see the lock), the room was dark, the rooms next door smelled of marijuana (the smell permeated the entire apartment), and there was a huge party downstairs. It was the worst experience we've ever had. We were on a trip as a couple to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. I complained, and the rude customer service representative said our room was ready. The advertising was completely misleading; the owner puts an address to deceive guests. The platform should be more rigorous... I will possibly file a lawsuit against the platform or the owner because We feel cheated.
