I liked this place

Position directly on the beach, room was very spacious and original. Big windows in the bedroom and toilet, but still with privacy, it was great taking a shower looking at the sea.

Madagascan food served here was not the best we tasted during our trip

Early start for Anakao Express.

Great location at the end of the fishing village with a beautiful stretch of private beach. Excursions are well organised and the snorkelling off Nosy Ve was a real highlight. The food was fantastic, Italian menu utilising the fresh seafood available. The staff are incredibly friendly and approachable as well.

The location was perfect, right in front of Anakao beach. The bungalow was really lovely with the best view. It was the best hotel in the whole trip

It was amazing to stay in Peter Pan, for me the owner seems to be a little serious at beginning, however, after I talked with him, I knew he is very friendly and full with love. He has a free spirit and free soul, he can do whatever he want. And I like his cool personality. I was planning to stay two nights, but I extended one more night( because of my arrangement, I can stay only one more night, or I would like to stay more). The food in the restaurant is all amazing, the pasta and the pizza, every night I stay here, every night I had dinner here. The staff were also very helpful, the room was very clean, with hot water and stable electricity. Hope one day I can go back to stay for one month to have more time talking with the cool owner, having delicious Italian food and enjoying the "paradise".

Absolutely stunning aesthetic, the suite WWE stayed in felt like a treehouse overlooking the beach. Staff were amazing, food was great, and everything felt integrated into the local community. Beach was great!

Well located hotel beach front with nice staff and a great Italian cuisine restaurant. It's great to have a hotel with international standards regarding accommodations, staff, and food. However, since the owner is Italian, I can't understand how he could think that working schedules of 12/13 hours per day are ok. This can be 'normal' for Madagascar, but I am sure it's not legal in Italy or even complying with Madagascar legislation. If you want to have an international standards hotel, please look at the workers rights minimum safeguards. Otherwise, please take out Che Guevara's pictures from your restaurant wall because that's offensive to a communist and South American like me. It's also awkward and concerning that a guard with a rifle sits the whole night in front of my room. Anakao is one of the poorest villages in Madagascar and I doubt that fishers can afford a fire gun. This only reflects how the community relationship with the hotel is which is rather a competitive stance rather than a benefit sharing approach. Neocolonialism is well and alive.
