I was first greeted with nice and friendlness.That soon changed when the owner saw we were black.It went downhill from there i was greeted by the front desk bill stating his manger said there is only one person on your reservation I said what that’s a lie I booked for four I showed my confirmation then it was I need 20 dollars more on top of 250 for your guest mind you it’s Memorial Day weekend we see people we know.i then gave my keys and they refused to take my keys at first untill a guest came in and ask if they were rooms and I said you can have mines it’s filled with roaches and termites, toilet is against the sink rooms are outdated door was hard to open no smoke detectors and dirty towels plus a note on the wall saying to safe on to use your towel more than once.

We rented the room based on the use of a swimming pool that is shown in the bookit.com advertising as we planned to have friends and family over to swim in the pool. The pool was empty and under repair. Further to that we also wanted to access the beach. We were told by the manager that we would have to enter the beach by going through the fenced in pool area which had repair equipment strewn across the pool deck and obviously unsightly, and unsafe for us to access the beach through a dangerous area. The lighting was extremely poor my fiance and I did not feel safe and that was just two of the reasons. I think the most important part is it was false advertising they showed a pool that was available for use and we had already made plans to have family and friends come over. We are respectfully requesting our full monies be returned based on the fact that they falsely advertised and there was no mention that the pool was not available until we arrived and found that the pool was not usable and therefore we did not stay more than 5 minutes to be shown the room in a dark unsafe back room of the hotel. The manager had to try several times to open up the door that leads to the patio off the room as well as walking to the room at night was dark and made us both feel unsafe. Once again we respectfully request the return us the full money of our funds back to our credit card. Thank you in advance for your response. Respectfully, Scott Gantz

The pool picture should have been removed from the website. There should be safe lighting so customers can see if the area around the building to know that there is no criminals lurking about. Around the perimeter of the building were ladders abandoned go-karts and other unsightly junk. This was no place that we felt comfortable nor could we bring family and friends to use the pool or to feel safe.
