GBReally close to the ferry terminal and train station, which makes it an ideal location for a night's sleep to catch the early ferry to Mull the next day. The room is small but generally clean, really worth the value.
The bed was a little too tall for our liking. The room had no window but it was explicitly stated before we booked, therefore we were expecting it and hence had no issue with this. There is no option to drop off our baggage before check-in/after check-out in the accom since it's an unmanned hotel

De douche was bijna onmogelijk dicht te draaien wanneer je er onder stond. Zowel mijn zus als ik hadden hier problemen mee. Met twee handen en veel kracht. Ook kon de temperatuur niet voorbij de vergrendeling. Normaal druk je dan een knopje in en kun je verder draaien. Hierover een mail gestuurd, waarop dezelfde dag iemand is geweest. Echter kreeg ik een mail met uitleg over de werking van de thermostaatkraan en werd er gezegd dat deze prima naar behoren werkt. Vreemd we zijn toch niet helemaal gek?

Our room was right next to the main entrance exit door we heard everyone coming and going which made it very hard to sleep. The rooms are not well sound proofed so we heard everyone talking and also the restaurant upstairs was moving stuff around it woke us up at 6am. It’s a real shame because the idea and concept of this place has an opportunity to be great and unfortunately the lack of sound proofing means terrible night sleep which is why we have rated our stay so poorly. If you are planning on staying - take some ear muffs with you and play some white noise to block out all the noise. There should maybe be some signs up near the entrance asking guests who arrive after 10pm to be quiet because people arriving at 1-2am were not respectful of others in the building.
