The hosts were super lovely and welcoming, the house was lovely, shower/bath amazing, we had a wonderful night sleep - really excellent stay

The only reason they didn’t get a 10 was no cooked breakfast but the toast, tea etc in the morning was still delightful.

Such a beautiful house , set in a lovely and central location for our needs. We visited beautiful Chatsworth house and absolutely loved it. Lizzie and Paul were excellent hosts and great communicators.....

An ensuit is our usual preference but the bathroom was right next door and beautifully appointed.

It was an authentic creaky old property in a beautiful sleepy area surrounded by countryside. Exactly what we wanted. Lizzie and Paul were very friendly and helpful. Some great places to eat within walking distance. We did a 7hr circular hike with a stop off at a pub along the way. Nice to have a bath to soak our aching bodies afterwards!

The breakfast was wonderful and plentiful but didn’t realise until we got there that there wasn’t a full English option.

Nice home with comfortable rooms and a living room with tv at guest’s disposal as well as drinks hot and cold at any hour. Good full english breakfast . Lizzie and Paul are very helpful and kind, full of good advises about places to go and pub to eat at. Very close to wonderful and famous palaces (Chatsworth, to mention but one) and the amazing Peak District villages and paths.
